We are hosting an event to celebrate the publication of the anthology, Atropos Magazine - Cycle One! Get ready for two floors of fun : The 1st floor will be an art & independent writers market, featuring an Atropos stall, independent magazines and authors, and witchy & art stalls. The Second floor will be dedicated to the poems & artwork of Cycle I as a mini-museum, and a live open mic will be held for poets of the issues to read their poems out loud!
The event will be free entry. Floréal Belleville is divided into two spaces: one is a restaurant/coffee shop ran by the Floréal staff (that way you can enjoy delicious food without having to go far!), and the other is a 70 m2 galery space where the event will take place!
This event is being held as a way for people who have participated in the magazine, readers & the Atropos team to meet up and celebrate the release of the first anthology. Additionally, its a way to give you a witchy, artist, poetry, fun market to explore!
What can you do on the day of the event?
- Look around the market, meet independent creatives and grab yourself a copy of Atropos Magazine, or other small-press published books. Buy yourself an original illustration, stickers, zines, keychains, and much more!
- Explore the mini museum downstairs, where every poem and artwork of cycle one will be presented magically to be discovered!
- Attend our poetry open mic, come listen to the words of our poets read out loud, because poetry is first and foremost a spoken art!
- Grab a raffle ticket to support us, and you'll have a chance to win amazing prices kindly gifted by our stall holders!
- Fancy a trinket exchange? We will have a trinket box downstairs full of suprises! You know the rules: take a trinket, leave a trinket!
